Realty Connection is a referral company where licensees can keep their real estate licenses active with the real estate division, but are not selling real estate as a full-time career. Agents may refer clients looking to buy or sell anywhere in the world to full-time practicing agents for a referral fee, or may sell a new home in Nevada to a Buyer. The advantage to joining Realty Connection is the Associate may keep an active license with the Division yet not have to pay the costs associated with the board dues at the local, state and national levels, as well as MLS and Supra Key fees.
I’m moving out of state. Should I let my Nevada license lapse?
Many licensees mistakenly think they have to inactivate their license when moving out of state, or they just let the license expire. Realty Connection is an inexpensive option to maintain your Nevada license as active status. Residency in Nevada is not required by the Division. And, should you ever decide to return to Nevada, you won’t have to repeat the course, test, and licensing process again!
From Anywhere to Anywhere!
You can refer a Seller selling in one state who then buys in another. That becomes two referrals for you! You can make a referral from anywhere to anywhere!
How do I make a referral?
You can access referral forms from the "Agents Only" section of this website and simply, print, complete, and return by fax. We will then place the referral on your behalf. When the transaction closes, you will be notified that your check is ready. It’s that simple!

You may find it best to terminate with your prior brokerage firm first. In that process, your Broker should provide you with the Division form #505, “Termination Notice” which will also allow you to hand-carry your license to Realty Connection if your Broker gives consent to do so. . Items to Bring with You on Your Appointment 1. Termination Notice (Division Form #505) signed by Your Prior Broker 2. Your Original Real Estate License and Pocket Card 3. Copy of your current Driver's License 4. Copy of your Social Security Card 5. Copy of your Proof of Auto Insurance 6. Checkbook for Fees FeesYour annual dues to be a member of Realty Connection are only $150 and there are no monthly fees or transaction fees. There is a one-time processing/application fee of $25. Business cards are optional and are $50 for 1,000 cards. There is a $48 per closing errors and omissions deduction. You will still have to maintain your continuing or post-licensing education as required by the Division and pay your normal fees associated with renewals, as well as your Nevada State Business license of $100 per year and $75 every six months to the City of Las Vegas for their business license. The fees are relatively inexpensive when compared to the referral commissions you can earn. Just one referral in a year earns three times the fees on average. Be sure to see "Is it Worth It ?" |
